Yes i think its very intresting. It's difficult. To answer it I have a question: what for? Because, yes, it's one of the hardest languages to learn. So if you want to learn just for fun, why to bother you can learn two or three easier languages like english or russian etc. I don't want to sound negative and I feel how natives are breathing on my neck in anger :D but it's up to you, are you in for a challenge or just for a score ;.
RobertasM How did you come up with the idea of Lithuanian being one of the hardest language in the world? Why not Finnish or Chinese instead? Such strong propositions must be supported by some kind of sources. LostInTheReality First of all questioner didn't asked to provide additional information to support the answer. Second questioner asked is Lithuanian language is difficult, not is it Lithuanian language most difficult. Why difficult? Because most Indo-European language cultures are simplified over time, but not Lithuanian, still old.
So people are used to simplified version of Indo-European language culture. Those languages you mentioned are difficult for English speakers, because totally different language culture. Even for Chinese Lithuanian language is difficult that's why they learn easier language like Russian. It doesn't matter that the author didn't specifically mention something like this, "please provide me several justified arguments", you as a person who answers the question are responsible for providing quality answers.
